Star Wars Episode III: Revenge Of The Sith

Post by FSFunky »

Since I'm going to see this movie this afternoon (actually in about an hour) (I am pirating it :ssh:, I will go see it in the theaters) I thought I'd start the debate.

I'm really excited. I'm not expecting anything out of it other than some awesome action sequences and maybe a bit of depression because of Anakin's fall.

Expect comments from me in this topic and a review on my website!

I liked it. It was interesting to see how Darth Vader became Darth Vader.

I tried to rent episode two last night, and blockbuster didn't have it, so I'm like 'okay, so don't I get a free rental or something?' and they're like, 'no that ended in october. And it was only for movies that came out a week ago.'

I remember the commercials that bragged about how they give you a free rental for new releases, but I don't remember them mentioning the one-week limit.

And then another time I went to blockbuster, they told me not to worry about late fees and that I could keep it for an extra couple of weeks. So I asked if I could keep it for a year, and they said that after a few weeks they make you buy the movie.

I hate blockbuster.

I was impressed. It was really good. A more indepth review will be on my website!

Let's just say that the action was awesome and that the most important thing, Anakin's fall to the Dark Side, worked.

You should try Hollywood Video or Hastings then. Those two are pretty good.

I tried to get a Hollywood membership last year, but I had to be eighteen. And now, I haven't even seen half of the movies I own. But there is a Hollywood video nearby me now that I might tease.

I saw it last night, it was very good. Very good that you don't hear Jar Jar Binks' voice at all! Ever!

Confusing, but very great.

The second was good, too. So I guess the first is the only one I didn't like.

It seems unlikely that this deeply unsatisfactory situation will be resolved by a new attempt to answer the old question; instead, as has been suggested by some of the most thoughtful students, we should expect to find that some part of the conceptual landscape in which this problematic entity resides must be reconstructed before it will come into focus.

That alone makes it better than episodes 1 and 2.

They've all lost the soap opera, cowboy movie in space thing that made the original three so good. Nothing will defeat Empire Strikes Back.
