Myth aka Adam Parrish's ZZT/MZX Lexicon.

How about we make an updated version for our (the ZZTers') half? A lot more terms and names have crept into the community since then. Examples:

Ravebaron (RAYV-bahr-inn) n. An emoticon created by ry0suke on the forums at z2 (q.v.). The image itself is of a pirate that continuously changes his color. Has been known to induce seizures in small children and the elderly. - Stak

zzo38 (zee-zee-OH-three-ATE or zed-zed-OH-thir-tee-ATE) prop. n. A mysterious personage of some history who frequents the boards on Z2 (q.v.), who in spite of demonstrating considerable competence in web-based programming is unable to spell even the most basic of English words. See 'avater' and 'piccher'. There is some suspicion that he is, in fact, WiL (q.v.). - MadTom

Here's a couple:

Z2 (zed-TOO or zee-TOO) prop. n. Large-scale archive of ZZT games (http://zzt.org) established by Fishfood and craNKGod after the demise of zzt.org (q.v.), due to xabbott's (q.v.) ill-fated reforms to the site. Z2 is famed for its relaxed system of site staffing and management. While at several points the site's existence has been threatened in various ways, it has remained in action all this time, assisted by the dedicated management of craNKGod (q.v.) and Fishfood (q.v.). But mostly craNKGod.

Administrators of the site have included over this time: Benco, Cait_Sith, craNKGod, CyQ, Donut, Dragonlord, Fishfood, Flaming_O, Kracken (q.v.), MadTom, Mooseka, _ry0suke_, wildkarrdex, Zenith Nadir (q.v.), zamros (q.v.), Zanno (q.v.), and zenryoku (q.v).

rocketjump.org (rok-et-JUMP dot org) prop. n. Web host run by lemmer, which holds the sites of many ZZTers, past and present. See mtrap.org.

I've actually been working on this, off and on. Here's what I've added on the ZZT side:

I've also edited most of what's there and deleted a few entries (mostly the defunct planned GCSes). Any collab (like on IRC or AIM) would be helpful indeed, as the MZX side is pretty much at completion.

I have a few more.

Stak (STACK). prop. noun. Also see: GameMstr1. A ZZTer that tries much too hard to make people like him. Previous failed attempts at respect within the z2 (q.v.) community from him include releasing "How To Be A ZZT'er" (q.v.), changing his name from GameMstr1 (q.v.) to Stak, and setting up his own IRC (q.v.) channel, #ravebaron (q.v.).

GameMstr1 (GAME-my-ster-ONE). prop. noun. Also see: Stak. Stak's previous alias. Proclaimed himself to be everyone's least favorite ZZTer.

#ravebaron (CHA-nel RAYV-bahr-in). prop. noun. An IRC (q.v.) channel created by Stak. Highly predicted by many ZZTers to be doomed to failure before it began. It is not nearly as popular or as heavily frequented as #rawr (q.v.), yet Stak is unwilling to completely give up on it yet. Current ops (q.v.) include Stak (q.v.), Madtom (q.v.), nondescript (q.v.), Jou (q.v.), and Dr. Dos (q.v.).

Everyone, be careful not to waste your time with definitions of something that's already been defined.

I don't think putting descriptions of like everyone ever in is a good idea, unless they're REALLY important, or carry like a health warning (eg. godedrp).

Skeptisoft (skep-TEE-soft) prop. noun.

The name of a ZZT company formed c. 1999, headed by a ZZTer of the same name (also; Skepty). Members included Skepty, Pizya, Sierramwb (later Darkshadow) and a bunch of others I forgot. Proported by its owner to be "The next Interactive Fantasies (q.v.)". Though the company disbanded in the same year it was formed, its legacy has lived on through its parody in Hallucina (q.v.) and the obsessive memories of ZZTers old enough to remember the infamous "Teen Priest (q.v.) 2 Will Be Banned!" war started by Skepty, in which he attempted to boycott R-rated ZZT games (particularly Teen Priest 2) in a histrionic display worthy of Mary Whitehouse or uh Tipper Gore.
