TMK, copyright concerns?

Yo yo yo. Posting here out of curiosity. I don't know if this is old news or not. Anyone have details on The Mushroom Kingdom taking down it's ZZT section "due to copyright concerns?"

Copyright concerns? With ZZT? It was declared freeware some time ago.

so what your saying is if we, say, steal a piece from another game (thats 20 years old) it would be ok to... attempt... to put it in a ZZT game?

Then here's what you do.

(1) GO TO THE SEARCH BOX IN THE Z2 MAIN PAGE
(2) TYPE "MARIO"
(3) PRESS ENTER

AND THERE YOU HAVE IT! MARIO GAMES ALL TOGETHER FOR EASY REFERENCE

mushroom kingdom accounted for like 20 percent of people coming to the site

im guessing it also accounted for 20 percent on the idiots that LIKE MARIO coming to this site

also if epic asked us to take everything down i hope someone would send them a letter saying 'AND THEN SUDDENLY SAILOR MOON APPEARED'
