Finally bought a Kishidan album a couple of weeks ago - Song for Route 127, a 2-Disc greatest hits. Most of the good stuff is on the second disc, but disc 1 has One Night Carnival (One of my all-time favorites) so all is forgiven.

is that really your definition of 'aggressive electronic music'

well, there you go
also if you consider merzbow "aggressive" you're pretty much completely missing the point of merzbow. it is not aggressive, it simply is
fungahhh and seventh shade should both listen 2 plaid (bold cuz its the namer of the band) and one or both of them will like it, i'm pretty confident of this
get double figure or not for threes, best ones
this band soundtracked an anime film which is how i found out about them, jesus shit i am a nerd (they are trip-hop)

haha i don't really think merzbow is aggressive it is just noisy
but no electronic music is not aggressive unless it is 200+ bpm

That's electronic and somewhat noisy.
Edit: For some reason, these tracks are not featured on their own site, yet they're freely available (without an account) over here:

One is about the harsh life in Russian military service, the other one is about Albert Hoffman. I just noticed you can't listen to the latter, at least not without an account. OH WELL. The first song is pretty good, though!
They also have a song about the death of Pope John Paul II, featuring the unintentionally hilarious father Roderick.

I'm listening to the original Third Eye Blind album which I have not listened to in years. Some of the songs have aged well.
I probably listened to it a lot when I first started using zzt.

Why is this a sticky but not the book or youtube video threads?
Anyway, the album "Sing Loud Sing Proud" by Dropkick Murphys is years old but completely awesome. Great music to listen to while driving from town to town.
