One more recommendation:
Fugazi - The Argument.
Nadir told me about this record years ago and I bought it, recently. I have been rocking out to this son of a mother ever since. There's some punk and hardcore action going on, packed between noisy guitar battering and a couple of good melodies. It's creepy and unsettling sometimes, in healthy doses. And there's a spacy dub-type of song, too.
