I'm moderately good at ZZT programming. I can't draw or come up with anything coherent, though. Perhaps there could be guides on how to do these things?

It's something you do or do not have. You can't teach skill.

Rubbish. Anyone can draw, it's just a matter of practice. Which is why people who've been scribbling on things since the year dot generally grow up to be pretty damn good, whereas people who haven't have a harder time of it.

Yes, it takes a while, but so does learning kung fu! And that's a skill!

Could someone teach me how to draw the Irate Pirate better?

I can show you how to make things in ZZT flicker or twinkle, like fire/water... It's pretty much the only thing I can do impressively with graphics.

Or you could use the fade tool that ZZTAE and KevEdit have and say those were your graphics... :missile:
