Can new games still be added to z2?

What is the status of new games on z2? I see that the upload list is huge. I also hear Madtom doesn't come here anymore. Suppose new ZZT games actually get made. Is it even possible for them to be made available in the z2 catalog?

Since the last update there has been some good stuff out, but finding it is limited to the posts on the forum. Old site, technical problems (where's qp) etc. Mostly we attach games to threads, and there is some stuff on glorious trainwrecks too.
Since then I made a few games, and there's a awesome game by bitbot that is Link 2, and there's The Quiet which is quality personal weird like zzt was for so many.

There's no reason properly adding things shouldn't work. It just hasn't been done in a million years.

I'd like to rephrase Nomad's comments a bit more diplomatically.
May we pretty please have a proper update? That would be wonderful.
