Yeah, that was what I was thinking, too. DosBox has been an absolute boon (I could even go as far as to say "life-saver") to so many older programs.Dr. Dos wrote:Run it in dosbox.
It would only be a problem if an editor makes heavy use of DPMI and real-time features in protected mode, which strain even DosBox's ability to emulate.

seriously though, is there a 64bit version of kevedit? I'm not savvy enough to know whether that is just a simple switch at compile time, or would require a rewrite.
IIRC kevedit does not play nice with dosbox, so zztae is the only way to go there.

Kevedit has a windows version which runs fine for me. (Also a Linux version)
Other than sometimes having alt-tabs make it think i hit tab and also am holding alt.
