Remotely explain how G&W games work?
I'd like to know how the mechanism inside a game & watch works, I mean extensibly(hopefully) or just as detailed as anyone might be able to get. And when I say game & watch I mean any of those old LCD games.

Usually they have a cheap microcontroller, something like this is common: http://www.ti.com/product/msp430g2001. Older ones might have simply been a chain of transistor logic gates. The controller is of course hooked up to a screen much like a watch, and it turns parts of the LCD on and off.
