http://cd.textfiles.com/megagames1/GAMES/ARCADE/ZZT.ZIP - ZZT 2.0, 26-Jan-1990 hints that ZZT was actually released in 1990 and not 1991... a few sources also seem to confirm this (other downloads of ZZT that is)

paging quantum to this thread, he'll probably have some fun with this stuff, a lot of it is old or unofficial versions of stuff we already have on the site but it's good to give it an airing for the first time in like, 15 years

Cool! I'll have to sit down sometime in the next couple of days and go through this.

I just found a harddrive with a whack load of ZZT stuff in it dating back to 1995. I'll see if I can get around to uploading some of what I've got, here, if its not already in the archives.
