Nanogame exhibition: Single-board ZZT games. ~Tilde.

Okay, so, here's the concept. Players post topics for each other like in the
Small Games Exhibition, but the challenge is to make a game in a single board.

Rules:
  • *The entire game must be only one board. This means the player will start on the title screen.
*Topic declarations must be no more than three words in length, and short words like "The," "it," etc. don't count. If it wouldn't be capitalized in a title, it doesn't count toward your topic declaration limit.
*After your topic has been declared, you can post discussion material in the rest of your post, rather than double-post.
*Each post is a topic for the previous poster unless it contains a tilde (~) in the subject: line.
*To clarify: if your post does not contain a tilde in the subject, it is a topic declaration. A topic declaration is a phrase with no more than three significant words in it. "Snakes on a plane" would therefore be an acceptable topic, because "on" and "a" don't count toward the limit.
*If your keyboard doesn't have a ~ key on it, you can copy and paste a tilde from another post, or just type "tilde" into the subject line.
*Each topic declaration goes to the last person to post without a tilde. This means that to declare a topic, you must also make a game out of the text topic declaration.
*Finished games may be posted to this thread in a tilde-ed post.
I think that covers everything. Anything else we need? Or should I post without a tilde and start us off?

EDIT: nobody cares about the tilde rules anymore. Just say in your post whether you need a topic or not.

i think the best way to do a contest is to actually have some signing up and a date of start. just hoping we'll all start on our own is wishful thinking.

Thank you for detracting attention from my thread.

Is there something I'm missing? The Small Games Exhibition started this way, and it's working, and I wasn't planning anything really competitive...

But, if we need a deadline, I could start a new contest. I just thought that that was what 24HOZZTs were for.

Edit: I didn't mean to detract attention! I was having some ideas on that thread and thought I should split it, since it's a slightly different style! I've even made a game according to that thread already! Did I do something bad?

Commodore's post had no ~ in the title, so commodore's topic is now "Was about to post," unless that's just silly and should be skipped.

EDIT: and. by the same token, Jotz' topic would now be "no jotz is just." That's probably a conflict of interest. What say we just assume all posts up to this point are not topic declarations?

furries crossing the river.

Now someone give me a topic!

Also: Whatever happened to the tilde rule? According to my tilde rule, nadir just gave himself a topic of "your thread sucked anyway," unless that quote counts and it was "Jotz wrote: Thank you."

Actually, I don't think anyone cares. Let's assume Nadir gave Dos the topic "full english breakfast," and I gave Nadir the topic "furries crossing the river."

Commodore or someone else can now come back and give me a topic.

EDIT: jotz doesn't seem to have posted a
jotz wrote:second thread where the games will be posted and you may discuss.
So I'll just post my game on my own in a day or two. I already sent it to jotz via email as was requested.
