I use Dosbox to play ZZT as I have a computer with Vista. Anyway, ZZT music plays through my speakers, but whenever the same note is played twice it merges together to make the note longer instead of playing them separately. Does anyone know if this is because of Dosbox, or if it's because of my computer. Aaaaand, are there any known solutions?

it's dosbox, but it also happens on my friend's laptop without DOSBox. don't know of any solutions, i suppose you could ask about it at the dosbox forum
