Exactly. The only reason I said I have 9 boards done is because I've been practicing working with speed in ZZT (both the default editor and KevEdit), so that's boosted my time. I still have much to do, including adding things to make the plot work (hardest thing for me). So, don't worry on how far you are on your game, just as long as you submit something good.

Edit: Lancer-X's game is twice the size as mine. Also he's doing it in MZX.

Sorry to withdraw, I just need a frustration-free weekend or I'll probably kill somebody.

I was hit with a total dry spell regarding ideas for the topic, until a particularly grandiose one came to me. Like my other WoZ entries, I'll either do really well or wash out and not even finish, depending on whether I can chew what I bit off.

Thank you! That's an example of what happens when I can turn big ideas into actual games within three days.

I have a concept idea, but I don't know if I can come up with an actual execution I care to create. I guess we'll see today, though!

This weekend just isn't going to work for me.

I'm out, guys, sorry.

I just got the maps and walkthrough and stuff worked out, so all that's left is actually making the game in ZZT.

You may think not having actually opened KevEdit or anything yet is a bad sign this far into the contest, but it usually takes me longer to decide what I'm going to do than it does to do it.

Hell, I spent two of the three days on Colosseum: The ZZT game making the first gerbil engine battle, then the third day porting it to all the other battles and making the entire rest of the game.

I'm trying to keep the gameplay contained in one board, but it looks like I'll have to split it into two or three... Ah well.

Crime on!

This is me.

I had an idea but I'm too lazy to program it. I just need to find a way to make another aura ripoff like I did with Dracula's curse.

Maybe you can switch between a red and blue <s>aura</s> bandana to kill bloods and crips.

Workin' on it. Some shoddy art boards done. It won't be the best thing that I've ever made, but hopefully it won't be terrible.

Ugh, at least you've got stuff done. =(

I can't come up with something that doesn't involve ripping of- err, permanently borrowing from Burglar! and Castle Adventure.

At all. =(
