I figured out a way to change the hacked bquest files into regular zzt file. But i have trouble trying to work it out use the find/replace in wordpad. Any ideas?

banana quest is quite playable as it is.
There's really no need.

Yeah, you just hex edit zzt.exe to change that stuff around. I did that like 5-6 years ago(one for a joke zzt.exe, and one for a game).

Are there any cheats for it? I quit playing it a long time ago because I didn't get enough gems at the diving part and didn't want to start over. :(

they're all edited, but still in there.

I should refine my question. What have they been edited to?

I'm guessing you could search for the location in zzt.exe and then go to that same location in bqzzt.exe or whatever it's named and find out what they're renamed to. Get a hex editor if you don't have one to do that.
