The story of Samson seems kind of pointless to be in the bible.

Samson is really good, and I like some parts of the Elijah story too.

Well I mean it's okay, but it's pretty much like a king is jealous of Samson's god-given strength so he hires a hot stripper to seduce him and cut his hair, and in the end Samson is all like "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" and makes a temple collapse and everybody dies. There really is no point to it.

* dont give in to seduction
* self-sacrifice
* hubris=bad
* envy=bad

also the bible isn't ALL allegories and proverbs to live your life by, it also served as a historical record for notable events of the time!

i think kev-san was the first person to make bible zzt games

jazzy made A PILGRIM'S PROGRESS ZZT which had a preview in zztv before it was canned

good thing too because it was terrible

I made one that I started in late 2002. I did finish it, but had realised it really wasn't a terribly good ZZT game well before that! I used a couple of boards from it as title screens for ZZTV9 when I was desperate to get the thing finished.

The "redemption through self-sacrifice" is my favourite part of the Samson story.
