Video Games and their effect on you.

Post by Hayabusa »

First off, after being absent for quite some time from the comunity and these forums I was sad, I was like "WHERE'S Z2" - I quickly messaged Papabear and the good ol' man gave me the Link- So I'm still glad it's still up and running. Maybe sometime soon I can upload my game and finish the few boards that I started....a year maybe 2 years ago? Man.

ANYWAY. -

I need all of your help. For school I have to do this paper on Cause and Effect.

I had no idea WHAT to do this paper on. Then shortly after, I found out someone was doing videogames as a topic, but of course, it was in the negative way of, It makes you kill people.

SO! I was thus inspired to write mine on the POSITIVE effects of videogames and how it's inpacted not only mine, but the mind's of many alike.

So I would like to use some quotes from some people that would agree Video games have had a positive effect on their life. So tell me what videogames has done for you.

video games entertain me in a way no movie, book, or television show ever could. they are an art form in their own respect (especially if you eliminate the money aspect and take a look at the freeware scene.)

I can think of a few things that make me want to kill people, and one of them is certainly not videogames. If anything they keep me from doing it.

also they bring loonies to a place like this. You've already eliminated about 99% of normal people by having a fan site based on a game that uses text-mode graphics. It's no wonder we're furries/nerds/dutch/tyrannous/etc...

I play dancing games like DDR and ITG frequently and as a result am in good shape. With those games, the more you play the more stamina and muscle you build.

Also, I personally know someone who lost almost 100 pounds playing DDR.
