I've always wanted to play Cave Story, but it didn't install on my old laptop for some reason.

Anyways this is an okay game. I like the music the best.

i found the secret room, it's a big bitch to reach. now i'm just missing one of those goddamned cp orbs

(unlike dos, i tend to play the games people reccomend. UNLIKE DOS!!! although if i were him, i would be afraid too, as being exposed to a game as awesome as gun hazard might turn him heterosexual!)

I just beat the second boss and it was the coolest boss fight ever. One of those japanese shooter makers should make a game just like that.

i finally found the last cp orb (it was in the hanging egg) and health orb (in the chimney), so i can officially declare this MYSTERY SOLVED

I only need one more CP point for the final Phantom Cube Upgrade.

i think i'm officially stuck.

where do i go once i complete the sky area? it just takes me back to the bubble shaft. i can access an area with untraversable acid in the sandy area with the orange block power-up but i can't get past it. the map is no use, it says i've accessed everything.

also, how do you get the orb out of the chimney?

Throw shit at the chimney.

And you have to have your phantom cube upgraded enough so you can stay in the air as long as you have CP. Then you can cross the acid.

Jesus fuck I can't beat the final boss.

Also I think i'm missing one health. I have 14 max HP and 15 would fill the left column with health/CP meter nicely.

update: i now have 8 cp orbs and have recieved the second phantom cube upgrade, so now i can go places i couldn't reach before

and i made it ACROSS THE ACID omg

too bad whenever i attempt the level at the other side i get gang-raped by scary red hoppers

also i think i figured out where the secret area is. no way can i get that far up there though

I beat the game earlier today. I liked the ending quite a bit.

This game is what happens when a person who tries to be random isn't also a complete retard. This is shown in the credits.

i was the first person to do the "funny because it's random" thing in these parts back in 1999. example: chickenwire

i don't think i was too bad at the time even though i was 15 and kind of annoying and dumb.

too bad idiots decided they could do it too, resulting in failures like kurushimi and develin thinking they were funny

this guy is a cool dude though. i hope there is another lyle game
