Consider this scenario...

Consider this scenario:
I build a website where we can all take part in a fight against the forces of evil. I will assign a Dungeon Master to create interesting situations for us all. There will be a shop where users can buy stuff. There will be a Tavern run by your very own Zamros (If he wants to…) and other cool stuff.
Users can create their own characters with stats like Strength and Dexterity etc. This task should take no longer than 2 months to finish.
Who would use the site if I actually built it?
Also, do you use fixed IP numbers or ones that change every time you connect? The reason I ask is this: The site will only work for people with “fixed” IP numbers. Sorry, but times are changing, people are getting smarter (uhhh, did I say that?). I need to be able to deal with the buddy voting and hacking attempts etc.

I'm with a non-fixed IP, as will almost anyone who uses dial-up. I'm not sure about other parts of the world, but over here for every 1 person who uses cable there are 4 people who use dial-up.

Consider this scenario: A loser with a crappy dial-up that dosen't want to go to your site does, and finds it fun, amusing, and thought stimulating.
Then, he logs off for the day and his IP changes, and he has to make another account.
Then another the next.
Then he decides to flame you.

:hmmmm:
Not possible. There will be a 24-hour delay before people can access their new accounts. If their IP addresses have changed in that time, they will be completely blocked out.

Ryan...I love him because he stands up to the admins...not because of some story he told in a ZZT game.

If "mucking about" means "standing up," then I suppose your statement could be considered standing up to the mean old fascist brutal admins as well!
In any case, I'm not exactly sure how one can defiantly stand up when he's not told to sit in the first place.

I have non-fixed IP. It's good for ban evading.

Hey I was joking crank. I don't think the staff are all that bad. They might have been in the past, but it all seems okay now.
