What is this ZZ3? Does anyone have it- Cuz I try to get it off of the Z2 site and the page is blank- Does anyone have it? Or no of keeping ZZT the same but being able to use Midi files?
But ZZ3 sounds awesome- So does anyone have it?

Nope, I think ZZ3 is dead for good. Anyway, it can't be any better than ZZT or equal it since ZZ3 is coded in QuckBasic. For playing midi files, Bang! is a good editor. Since
bangdepot.tk has disappeared, I will be opening up a site for Bang! soon.

Well let me now about that site- So the "bang" thing- Is it ZZT with .mid music- I just would really enjoy a ZZT with music that comes from the actual speackers instead of the PC speakers.
So let me know when you get that site up

Aww...Then that means I have to learn a new language and changes with MZX. I plan to do it though- But not until my current projecet is done.

While we're on the subject, I think I'll mention that .ZZM music, especially that used in KevEdit's Test Music function, is incorrectly played; it sounds wrong. Please have someone with more time than me correct this grievious error. Thx.

In addition to playing slightly faster than in ZZT (but not as fast as the ZZM player), KevEdit's music player defaults to removing the tiny gap of silence between each note normally included in ZZT music.
If you want to hear the music without this "slurring" problem, as it would play in ZZT, play the music with Alt+T rather than Ctrl+T. That's documented in the help file.

BOW to Zenith Nadir. For he is wise. MZX is exactly what I wanted- The newer versions I hadn't checked out - but they rock. God bless you Nadir.

I'm not talking about slurs! It just plain sounds wrong, no matter what I do! I have more sensitive hearing than many humans, it seems, and a keen sense of musical pitch and whatnot. Trust me. It's WRONG. Oh, and ZZTAE makes weird buzzing sounds for no real reason sometimes now. Why? And where did the the #rawr forum go, and is the ZZTCon forum around or did someone delete it?
