could you all tell me what you rekon the best Zzt games are, so that I know which ones I should probably download.

well some of them are what we like to call featured games which can be found on the main page. Also if you scroll down that page a bit and look in the right-most column, you'll see a list of games that have been given the highest scores by reviewers.

MadTom's Pick
Game of the Month

Game of the Month was a contest from the old days, now discontinued. MadTom's Pick is the successor to this contest in a way, except that MadTom alone decides what the best game of each month is. Both list some great games to play.

How the heck did Ezanya make it as a Featured Game??? Even for a pre-STK game, it doesn't seem to great. :( Sorry if the authour is reading this. I mean, it has no real story, no object-enemies, and death by touching the eevil king! Maybe someone should do a remake and give it a facelift. BTW, wasn't someone going to remake the Link's Adventure games?? I SEE NO LA:SE! Maybe I'll do it. Those games deserve it. Oh, and Dos, that thing in The Rules was AWESOME!

Ezyana was dumb but it was kind of nicely done. I think it won the contest and thus is uh good. Making a special edition of Link's Adventure would be dumb because it would be like hot new graphics and uh... LIONS TO SHOOT. Although the series is an excellent example of old fashioned zzt games.

Featured games aren't so much the absolutely best games, as they are the games that the people writing reviews think other people should know about. If you want a list of what the community as a whole thinks are the best games, game of the month is the way to go.

awhile ago i was making a zzt classics folder and going through z2 quickly but i got lazy quickly so what i do have in it is

Aceland
Aventure 1
Anihilator
Best of ZZT
Best of ZZT 2
Bugtown
Cannibal Isle

although the best game ever was ZZT SPORTS

That was a crazy month.
