Now, for those of you who don't frequent #rawr on IRC (And you should), most of us are using SoulSeek as our preferred P2P app.

Now the wonderful thing about SoulSeek is that it allows you to only share with people who are in your list. However, this requires knowing their username.

So, use this thread to share your soulseek usernames, and I promise I will add everyone who posts in this thread to my friendslist.

Please don't forget SoulSeek usernames are case-sensitive. Which means that if you registered as RaVeRbOi, I will need to add you with the same capitilaztion.

Also right click in the channels list and create the channel Rawr because that's where we all chill. When you're in Rawr right click and toggle autojoin.

If you're having router or firewall issues, try opening port 2234. They have walkthroughs on how to do this on the SoulSeek forums. This helped me with my problems.

You know how sometimes on kazaa there would be usernames like cant_help_it_srry_8( and the download would be like .001 kb/sec? Well I might be one of those people now.

Well, soulseek isn't really a well known p2p app, so I guess the chance would be rather slim, however it was recently featured on "The Screensavers", a tv-show, so I'm rather worried the script kiddie quota might increase.

However, if you set up so that only people on your buddy list can download from you, you're practically safe, unless you have people from the RIAA or what not on your buddy list.
