if anyone's seen any article or anything about the internet in recent days, it most probably made some sort of reference to the exploding popularity of online dating sites!

it's quite simple - someone puts a personal ad on, and when someone else sees the personal ad, they send a message to them through the dating site and see if they really want to go out together! people meet boyfriends, girlfriends, fuck buddies, even spouses through these dating portals!

plus, there are sites for just about anyone! there are the ordinary dating sites, like nerve.com or shit like that, or there are the SPECIALTY ones, such as JDATE.COM, for jewish date-wanters.
