No, we won't do away with custom ranks. We like them. But have you noticed ranks such as Pentapostary and Emoticon (and Weapon of Mass Destruction)? These are the substitutes for most sites' "newbie" and "suparposter" and whatnot. We don't intend for them to replace custom ranks. All this poll is for is.. well, seriously, just take the poll.

Are custom ranks the ones I make by clicking on my current rank and typing in the box? If I clear the box, does my rank default to one of the post-count ones?

I assume it's not at all plausible to allow users to select their own userrank images, in the same manner as the userranks themselves ... ?

I didn't think Donut would make userranks with custom tags.. I might look into letting users upload their own tags.
