Defender of the Crown, Elit (you have a spaceship, you buy-sell-fight the pirates, etc...)

Abracadabra for the Atari was pretty rock out loud. Zelda III was badass... Hrm.... Super Mario Bros. III for the NES was too awesome.

blaster master is awesome. Legacy of the Wizard is a bit lame, but I beat it anyways.

Its proportion of suck to good games was pretty high. =(
For every fun game for the system like Ninja Gaiden and Batman (probably one of the very few good licensed games ever) there's quadruple the dreck like Back to the Future II & III and 10 Yard Fight.
For US there were about 60 excellent NES games, 75 pushing it. Compare that to the full 500-so released in America.

I like a lot of the games released for the NES, including a lot of the crappy ones.

If I wanted shitty capabilities and about six trillion awful hacks of Super Mario Brothers with "Mario" replaced with "Satan", I'd play ZZT. oh wait

i like back to the future 2 and 3, in a weird way. the first back to the future game was pretty bad, though.
