zzt is great though, it's easy to forget that nowadays... there's some real gems in the archive...

I think I need to get around to making my "newbie's guide to ZZT" that I've been planning for a while. Ideally, it was going to include play tips, design tips, and brief information about z2. It took me years to figure out what was going on, I'd like to make it a little easier for new players.
meh. I'll probably never finish it, but I can dream, can't I?
EDIT: speaking of "slightly pissed," if someone thought it necessary to edit my post, I would prefer if that someone admitted to it or at least left a reason for it.

I'm flattered. I was just bored and wanted to see if I could do it. I think that was the first real game I worked on, although I gave up when it was half-finished because level design got tedious. And the forums are insane as ever, I've just started warming up to it.
P.S. if you're still looking for the way back out, it's
here, I think. Unless you meant
all the way out of z2.
