TRIUMPHANTLY RETURNED TO BRITAIN

it's been a good year, i've learned a lot about a lot of things

things i will miss about poland:

pierogi
egyptian pizza
my job, which was pretty rocking awesome (i was good at it, too! i probably could have stayed longer but i decided to return to the real world. also i worked evenings, which suited me very well)
low low prices (readjusting to the pound will be a shock in the coming days)

things i won't miss:

the "lektor" on tv
people opening their car doors right in front of you as you're walking down the street (i swear to god this is like a national pastime or something)
that one guy who turned up to all my discussion sessions and dominated the discourse with right-wing politics and wouldn't shut up about how the polish government roxxx, holy shit
not having home internet access (oh my beautiful dell, i have missed you so)

ps. i never told you guys the south korea thing didn't work out, did i? oh well

It's weird to imagine pierogis being this strange new food from another country. Pretty much everybody here is Italian or Polish though which would probably be why.
