We do it on IRC.

Although I do recall several years back JohnWW tried to get a Mafia game going on the boards.

As expected it completely fell apart.

Mafia on a forum is almost as bad as D&D by snail-mail.

Huh. I've never used IRC. That would probably explain why I don't get some of the references here. Although I can see why playing Mafia on a forum wouldn't work too well; to be well coordinated everyone has to work at once or a 5-minute discussion of who to lynch next could take place over several weeks.

Overall: if you are fan of doukutsu monotogari or game with the kitty you should try this game. It isn`t long. For good players (I am not) it should take only few hours to beat this game.

Groton — Police arrested an expelled Grasso Southeastern Technical High School student Sunday after he sent an eerie warning to his former classmates in the form of a video he posted on YouTube.com.

“Beware All Those Who Cross My Path. On March 19, 2008, THE END IS HERE,” the homemade video, posted Feb. 27, warns students.

Brandon A. Brown, 18, of 26 Stanners Road, New London, is free on $2,500 bond after being charged with threatening and breach of peace after police learned of the video from a Grasso parent Sunday. Police went to Brown's house to seize evidence from his computer, and they said Brown “readily admitted” that he had created the video.

The video — which was still posted on the Internet Monday — is a message scrawled in red lettering against a black background and plays to the words of “End,” a World Wrestling Entertainment theme song.

“The end is here/ The game is over/ No more pretending,” the lyrics state.

In the video, which Brown addresses to the students of Grasso Tech, he writes, “The Corpses Crimson Bitter Tears Will Flow And Mingle Through The Endless Sand Feeding The Chaos In Me and Making Me Stronger.”

The quote is taken from a fictional anime series about a character named Gaara who, according to several fan sites, claims only to feel alive when he kills.

However images any depiction of Tails the Fox, would be perfectly fine in /toon. Unless of course he is wearing a pacifier.

Biggest mistake:

When I turned 18, I bought every single issue of Genus that my comic shop carried.

INUYASHA92444038: dso, can you read japanees now?
asgromo: just hiragana
INUYASHA92444038: which one's that!
asgromo: not the one in the comic, that's all katakana
asgromo: although some of the symbols are nearly identical, just more angular in katakana
INUYASHA92444038:
asgromo: katakana is for... those sound effects, and transcribing foreign sounds
INUYASHA92444038:
asgromo: hiragana is for writing japanese, but it's not used all that much, because most all of the words have kanji
