The only things going in the 80s was Nintendo and Ninja Turtles
And we have both of those things now anyway
So why bother with the 80s

I don't think Metallica were ever good.
But the eighties had JUDAS PRIEST and TALKING HEADS, and hence will live forever in my heart.
Oh, and Eurythmics

The Talking Heads and Eurythmics are very good shit. I still listen to them occasionally.

It was crap-for-brains presidency that killed the 80s, that and computer programmers not making a y199k bug in their programming that'd stop the world from this crap future. The 08s had everything thuogh. powerful john cusack movies, john belushi, mr. mister, the smiths, new order, Sting AND the Police, Robert Palmer, Big Country and the Skids, the Stray Cats, and movies like Scarface, Bladerunner, and Ghostbusters that are conducted by entire Synthesisers instead of total piece of shit symphonies like John Williams or some shit, although harry potter's soundtrack was slightly better. A time when both Prince and Bobby Brown still ruled. When Phil Collins kept his solo project AND Genesis. DOUBLE THE COLLINS.. FUCKIN A... well, later damnit

The 08s? Like 1908, or 1808, or something? I guess I'll look forward to 2008 now.
