The working titles are Sabotaki and De Laatste Rokers.

I read a review by WiL about some oddball game from the past, stressing the importance of a character with actual characteristics, and preferably a goal, to relate to. Sabotage failed at this point, so this time, I'm trying to incorporate a story into my game.

It's going to be an adventure/rpg. I'm not sure where this is going exactly, but there there is a system, some reformist and a couple of insurrectionaries!

retro game

i have no name for it yet, just brainstorming for now. i'll start making it over the summer after i've gotten a good pile of ideas

(retro in the sense that there will be four paths to choose from at the start. there won't be a three lakes rehash, i swear)

basic graphics, built in enemies and object lovers, inventory engine, and some simple village construction stuff, if i can get it to work

more details later...............

This inspired me to make an engine I thought up not too long ago, but give it a nice classic look.

Except it's 4AM almost so I'm not finishing it.

The game's gradually making progress. The RPG story and gameplay have been thrown out, but that game might still be made, I've drawn plenty of boards.

Screenshots from the upcoming DINO LOVE. by yours truly, aided by
de Witte Smid, a new ZZT'er whose identity remains a mystery.

AWESOME, i always love your graphics

that first pic's a bit wacky, though; are those balloons hanging off the roof?

Thanks!

The first board was drawn by de Witte Smid. It's a wizard's house with some random magical phenomenon going on around the roof.

She started drawing art boards about two months ago. I like that her style is still spontaneous, she just draws what comes to mind.

it's good stuff for an untested zzter; i just wasn't clear on that part. it probably makes more sense within the game context.

the rest of it is nice (esp. the hot air balloon)

We experience productivity.

Not from the upcoming game. These are boards of the future!

and the most recent drawing by De Witte Smid! It's inspired by Fantasy World Dizzy and I think it rocks.
