Begining with nintendo 64, Nintendo can't come up with good enough games to back up there new technology. I hope they break that cycle this time.
Do you guys remember when Nintendo was king?
In 1991 Michael Spindler of Apple Computers was asked which company he feared most in the 1990's he answered "Nintendo"
Those were the days.

Starfox 64 was also pretty good, back in 1996. It's too bad that I never really got to play it extensively.

Yeah you're right about that :(
Neither have mostly all of the Saturn/Playstation/N64 games, actually.

Well I'm just sick of people saying that Nintendo's consoles should be more like its competitors' just so that they'll all get the same games. I thought you bought a videogame console because it was best suited for the kind of games you liked, not because it's virtually identical to everything else so you won't feel left out.

yeah, i agree with that. Starfox 64 was pretty great, considering it was just like Starfox, which is something they haven't done with a recent starfox game yet :(
It is true though that the older polygon-are-new console games haven't aged well. Though I didn't like the way they looked when they first came out which helped contribute to my lack of being current console wise... something I'm still feeling the effects of.
