An impressive piece of art I'm sure you'll agree.
My design process was in stages, and I added them all together - hence the size of it.
I was very impressed by the challenge, and even more so by your solution!
However <nitpicking> you should probably have one more transporter - like this:

I can just barely comprehend Kerr's solution, let alone TTTPPP's. Needless to say, both are brilliant works of engineering!
I might try to create my own design later. This is the most fun I've had with ZZT for a long while!
Also, this is post #143, if I'm not mistaken. <3 <3 <3

Speaking of rube boards....
Has anyone beaten Greg Janson's Super Rube Board in The Three Trials without cheating? I spent like three hours on it one day but only got 2/3 of the way through.

Did you know that if a transporter is blocked it will carry the player forward to another blocked transporter facing the opposite direction!?
Also did you know I made a thread for these things but nobody licked it?!

Can I have the brd file of your large layout there? it's a bit complex to recreate

At first I thought a large part of your solution could be lopped off, leaving a solution smaller than mine and without requiring any boulders in the mechanism of the pathway itself, but at every stage it seemed there was just one little problem...
I am beginning to suspect, although i am far from being able to prove, that this pathway REQUIRES a boulder somewhere in its mechanism, and that it cannot be built without one.

Edit: Yahoo is crap<s>I don't know if this will work, but I tried to host it on Yahoo:</s>

Instead I've tried Walagata:

There's a couple of small bits you can cut out (eg. everything related to the topmost slider), but I think the rest of it is essential. You can also reduce the size by moving bits around (there's a lot of winding paths which probably don't need to be there).
The boulder in both designs seems to be used as part of a switch: from one part of the board you can allow access to another part without actually being able to get there yet (switch at A allows access from B to C).
In another note I reckon my design can be made with only nssliders and one boulder. Is there a much smaller and neater version of this as well?

i had sort of a different idea - that the boulder would return with the player. If one is worried that someone will go through again without returning by the same way, this slight modification could allow one to clear out the boulder:
anyway those were my ideas.
