i just can't get this zzt++ thing out of my system. a lot of stuff has happened since last year. hell, i'm going to be a father! there's no limit to what modern science can do, even for a 2000 year old.

i've been thinking of posting something on planetzztpp.com, but i don't know what. i'll put up something silly...how'boutthat!?

It's the curse of this sort of thing that it either never gets off the ground, or gets to the point where it's just beginning to generate excitement and then stops in its tracks.

I have a start to a windowed version of ZZT in C++. I worked out world loading, board changes, and part of the messaging system. The only object implemented so far, however, is the player (the board renderer also doesn't do line walls properly). If anyone wants it ... I don't see myself working on it anytime soon.
