They did that on purpose because it was a bonus ten years ago.
I remember when I played Dungeon Master for the SNES, and I had this giant block of graph paper...like, a notebook, only with graph paper. I didn't make it farther than the third floor thanks to having regretted that, but damn if I wasn't still proud of those maps

"dangerous to kids, May 14, 2001
Reviewer: A reader
Miller's works might not be deliberately designed to inspire boys to go on a vigilante killing spree, but since they have no other themes than making such things look cool to teenagers one wonders what else they could be for. In Ronin, his worst offense, he somehow manages to mix his usual themes with ethnic tokenism and other absurd forms of political correctness. Don't show this stuff to your children, and get professional help if you enjoy it yourself."

Dude. Tingle IS loving TERRIFYING. He's a 30+ something guy who thinks he's a fairy, but he's not. He's hideous, he wears tights, he floats around on a balloon that comes from his rear end, he talks like a child. I've had nightmares about that monstrous beast. There is no character for whom such behavior is more appropriate. It's doubly awesome when you factor in the whole "is that really crazed Tingle, or is the ugly-shirt guy completely insane and manifesting paranoid schizophrenia through the most hosed up vehicle imaginable?".

Something I've noticed, and I need someone to confirm/deny and make sure I'm not just crazy.
When you save and quit and start again later (ie Continue,) if you have a Casino, the game forgets about the $350/month revenue it's supposed to bring until you check your Budget sheet at least once.
The first time this happened, I knew I was making a grand total profit of about $300/month, and wanted to save up some money before building some new zones, so I fired up the game and just let the city run for a month and watched the population and cash figures. On the new month, my cash-on-hand actually went -down- by about $50. "What the heck? That can't be right," I thought to myself, and went to check the Budget sheet to see what happened to the revenue. The Budget sheet declared that I should be getting an income of $300/month, just as I had figured. On the next month, my funds went up by about $300, as expected, and continued to do so for the duration of that session.
After saving and quitting, the next time I came back, the same thing happened. Funds mysteriously went down until I checked the Budget, which seemed to fix it. The exact amount of the discrepancy clued me in to it being the Casino, as it's worth $350/month revenue, and my monthly income went from -$50 to +$300 after checking.
At this point, it happens reliably enough that I've tried to force myself to remember to correct it as soon as I start playing. Click Continue, make sure I go to the Budget sheet before the first month so I don't lose money. Sometimes I forget, and am only reminded when I lose money the first month. Grr.
Does this happen to anyone else? Also, if it does, is it just the Casino, or is the entire "Dealings" column forgotten? I don't have any other contracts with anyone, the Casino being the only "Dealings" my city has, so I wouldn't know whether it's the only one that does this.
