Internet Explorer, because everything else SUCKS.

And yes, I'm including Opera there. Net browsers are the one thing Microsoft can get totally right and not have to patch every three minutes.

Poll edited. All the available options were stupid.

IE beats Opera, mostly because of Opera's crappy CSS 2 compatibility, but I like <a href="http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firebird/rel ... irebird</a> most.

And Nadir, if you think Microsoft don't have to patch it every three minutes, you're wrong. They do patch it something like weekly, but their slow patches are the reason there's a huge horde of IE exploits out there. It has the worst security of, uh, pretty much any browser I can think of. The only thing Microsoft can get right is keyboards.

I would use opera for many reasons, but it doesn't like to recognize the fact that my mouse wheel exists.

If anyone can fix that for me I will stop using IE.

I really, really like Opera (though I preferred 6 to 7, for some reason), but this computer doesn't like it. If I had the choice, I'd definitely be using it.

I don't know much about the relative securities or compatabilities of the browsers listed, and I've never even tried Mozilla/Firebird, but Opera just seems a lot more easily customisable to me.

What does Mozilla have going for it? I should try it one day.

Opera likes my mouse wheel, and cyq endorses it, so I go with that.

Mozilla's strength is compatibility. It used to have memory leaks that the developers pretended didn't exist, but not any more. If you just want a browser, then get Firebird; Mozilla has a bunch of stuff like a (decent) mail client and an IRC client and other shit you'll probably never use.

I like Opera, but until there's full CSS 2 compatibility it makes me go =(

As for IE, well, if you don't value security and you don't like tabbing, go right ahead.

I wonder why I added Konqueror to the poll. I sincerely doubt anyone here uses it. It's good, don't get me wrong, but, uh..
