I thought I'd provide an update. Several new things were added: you can shoot, there are lions and tigers (which can shoot, throw stars, etc.), spinningguns, passages, board edges, lines, and a few other things. I also made the world loader, and it currenty just loads town.zzt (from the actual ZZT file). I know the board loader is slow; I'll try to speed it up somehow if possible. FYI, the actual ZZT file reading and downloading part is finished once it starts displaying the "Loading Board 1/whatever" message. The board loading takes a while because it has to generate the tables and stat information for every board. Switching between boards is only slow because the browser's rendering engine has to hide the whole table and draw the one for the destination board, so there's really no way that I can speed that up.
I'm going to save objects and scrolls for last, for obvious reasons. I'll do centipedes soon, and they should be a piece of cake.
EDIT: Also, it isn't XHTML anymore. No reason, except that it doesn't have to be XHTML, so I might as well leave it as plain HTML. Internet Explorer still barfs on it, but that's their problem.

Have you only tried using one browser? or did you try in some other browser...
To post your code html or javascript code you would only need to use one tag like this
code<html><head>
<script>
javascript code here
</script>
</head>
... rest of html document...
/code

If it's all javascript shouldn't it all be client-side?
