The more my own games get posted the worse I realize my graphics are.
Granted that balloon was just me screwing around with kevedit's gradient and then deciding to go on making the game instead.
The other day I was looking at old zzt games I started and found the 1 board of War-Torn 2 I made where I tried to emulate madguy's style and I think it came out okay.
i probably should stop posting in this thread, it's a lot of fun but it's extremely time-consuming to load up zzt with screen thief, take pictures, and then crop and convert them

HAY GUYS if anything interesting comes to mind, feel free to post it, it can be your own work, it doesn't have to be twenty or thirty images, or cropped, even.
I'm not an artist like Nadir or anything, so don't expect any lovingly rendered cutscenes or even trees that look like actual trees in the game itself. I'm an engine guy, but I'm at least competent enough with graphics to make the game itself not look too horrible when you're playing it.
