Bah, don't remind me of that crap. This one's being made by some group called Star Fish instead of the craphouse known as Altron, luckily. Natsume would've been best, but what can ya do.

Ultra bump:
PS2 version's been cancelled by Taito, but the developer Starfish is now working on a Wii game called Kiki Kai World that's essentially the same game as the cancelled version. One more game to look forward to if I ever get a Wii, I guess!
Source
Edit: There's also a PS2 version in the works, looks like. The target release date is early 2008 for both versions.

i bought a gamecube last month, and will eventually upgrade to a wii once the price drops (at the earliest)... hurrah for gc emulation on the wii
this will probably be one of the games i get for it, along with super paper mario, metal slug anthology, zelda: twilight princess and metroid prime 3
unless it stinks, of course...
i just hope it's basically pocky & rocky, with smoother graphics and more levels, i will be happy with a simple shooting game where you run around ancient japan throwing talismans at shit, and you can also play two-player, that will be fine by me, please don't make multi-player suck like in snes p&r 2, , also make the levels good, i hope this is not too much to ask, also release it in europe

no, but i am going to buy two of those once i've finished part of my current selection
which so far is metroid prime, legend of zelda: wind waker, ikaruga, viewtiful joe and paper mario: thousand year door.
i also got ocarina of time as a bonus with wind waker, but really it just serves to remind me why i ignored games during the ps1/n64 era (because i fucking hate the graphics)
i do not regret my purchase, and the whole bundle (cube +memory card + games) has come to about £100, which is pretty darn good...
