48HoFF Dualstream Winter 2007

What is the 48HoFF?
This stands for the 48 Hours of Fanfiction, and it will be hosted by... me! There will be two topics to choose from when it begins (thus "dualstream") and your goal is to create a fanfiction about one of the topics, but not both. But if it works out well then do both.

When is the 48HoFF?
It started on January 12th, 2007, 5 PM PST and ran until 5 PM PST on January 14th, 2007. If you hadn't signed up yet you could've still done so up until the contest ended.

Where is the 48HoFF?
On a computer, probably in a .doc, .txt., or .rtf, and definitely not a pdf. The topics will be announced both in #rawr on irc.slashnet.org and in this very thread.

Who is the 48HoFF?
You, the player! They will be judged by both myself and my fellow judges, lemmer and Nadir. Our scores will be averaged off in the end, unless they're a butt and a stupid judge.

Why is the 48HoFF?
For fun, and leisure. There is no pressure here.

How is the 48HoFF?
On a computer, probably in a .doc, .txt., or .rtf, and definitely not a .pdf. By keeping your fingers to your keyboard is how you will likely create the story, but bonus points may be awarded at the judge's discretion for using other body parts, such as your feet, nose, or penis.

Judging
The judging will simply be a score from 1-10, based on criteria such as the format, humour, creativity, and engagingity, but like many ZZTer contests, likely the best way to win this is to just be funny. If you're not very funny though, just be clever, and put in lots of violence. The judges are as follow:

i think doing that would improve the entries for both contests. like, outline your game with a fanfiction! or, make a fanfiction of the zzt game you just made!
