Re:
That’s one way of using the word “subjective”, yes. However, I have never proposed that my “letter grades” are indicative of my level of intelligence.commodore wrote:You asked for it.
1)You’re talking spunk again.
2)mundane and productive functionality
3)That statement is completely subjective, and totally lacks in validity. And I never said I was fully seasoned.
Subjective is believing that letter grades tell you how smart you are.
You can laugh; but are you saying anything? Are you conducting a logical debate with laughter? When have you ever used “evocative” properly? Give me an example.4)And nobody on here has ever used the word in acceptable grammatical context.
Haha
Elfs/elves are, by myth, a race of fairies or imps that have a fey, fanciful, and loving charm about them; they are mischievous; they enjoy “fun”, “healthy”, and “innocent” activities.5)I would post what I think about it, but I can't be bothered; and the only stored review I have is for the books; which are, in actual fact, quite different from the movies.
6)The elves are a very sombre race, despite the popular misconception of them being frivolous.
You missed my point. WHAT FUCKING MISCONCEPTION?!?! WHY ARE THE ELVES CONSIDERED SO WORTHLESS? You can't just say there's a popular misconception and then not explain where it comes from. Especially when it may not even exist!
The Eldar of the Valar are not like above, because they are a very unhappy, sombre, and afflicted race. They are a careful people, and they can be very dangerous. Elves of the Sindar and the Noldor are tall and graceful. They have no pretensions, yet they need none, as they are most dignified. And, although almost hidden, their glory is fantastic.

I like how your grades don't measure your intelligence, but Nadir's grades measure his.
I can give you an example: "What the fuck does 'evocative' mean?"

Re:
There's two conceptions about elves. The first is that elves are hippie-esque forest dwellers that enjoy sport, hunting and companionship; the second is that elves are elitist xenophobes. I happen to go with the latter more, but then again it's a matter of preference. Perhaps I should bold this. matter of preferencemedieval wrote:Elfs/elves are, by myth, a race of fairies or imps that have a fey, fanciful, and loving charm about them; they are mischievous; they enjoy ?fun?, ?healthy?, and ?innocent? activities.commodore wrote:You missed my point. Geez, I can't believe that I'm in a discussion about elves. Better listen to loud music to cancel out the geekdom =(
