Platon 2

Post by Commodore »

My "sequel" to Plato's Cave is the Timaeus. It's weird and wordy and hardly a game, but maybe it might stimulate some thought.

Yeah, that line... it rings some truth. By itself, it didn't encourage me to become a coder, but it did encourage me to think not so much about the code line-by-line but more abstract concepts (ZZT did a good job at taking a lot of boilerplate code out and focusing on the unique implementation.) This was really essential to learn more than one programming language. I know several now.

There are some really well done boards here. I appriciated the abstract approach and also, I got a kick out of meeting Socates in the pavilion towards the beggining. The non-game feel reminded me of the better ZZTV10 channels. I was never too into philosophy but I actually sat and consumed what was written here.

Well done.
