I got stuck in Atlantis. I have no idea where to go, a board link seems to be broken, and the game hangs at the wall painting.

Whoa, that didn't happen last time I ran through it. That's weird, there's no code on that board at all! I can't quite figure out why it's doing that... To solve it, I selected the entire board in kevedit, copied it, cleared the board with Z, then pasted the board back on top. Now it works! Must have been some corruption.

Whoops on the board link too. It was actually the very last board I did, and it was an afterthought after I figured Atlantis was smaller than other levels. It just leads to the purple key, so you could zap that door.

Thanks for playing so thoroughly!

I was so excited(relieved) to have finished it. I've played it a million times. Guess I should of played it a million and 1. I replaced the download link in the first post with the fixed version.

Now that I can actually get there, I'm sorry to say that the airlock doors there aren't working right.

And where's the green key? I just can't find it.

As for finding the green key, maybe I'll just give the hint that opening the sliding door helps.

edit: airlocks fixed final bugfix hopefully.

I can't find it at all. I've found the red and purple keys, but even with the editor I just have no idea where the green key is :(

Oh f*** me, I put a door without a key. It was supposed to be under the wall painting with the effect of seeing it on the first board then having it disappear, but I scrapped the idea because I feared flag overload.

Sorry for leading you on a wild goose chase, I thought you were talking about the second red key, because that's sort of obscure.

I take it that from all this you didn't find any bugs in the other levels? *fingers crossed*

In honesty I didn't play the game front to back again after finishing Atlantis, although I did do it for the entire game before that, a few times.

Also updated download again.

Finally played through all the way with no problems. Didn't have 25000 at the end, so I just blasted off on a rocket.

Did you buy the house and the rocket? It's one or the other if you also want to marry.

Unless that is you spent a fortune on health/ammo.

Ending the game can be done rather early, a better indicator of completeness is the gem count. Check the secret board object in the middle. There's about 4000 score worth of gems in the game.

No, I just only had 18000 after Atlantis.

I'm sure I'll be able to get 25000 and all six artifacts next time, especially after peeking with the editor to see what I missed the first time. I was wondering why there were six slots in the museum but only four levels.....

I haven't yet finished it, but I can quite honestly say that it brings of mind all the good parts of the old-school zzt games with none of the bad. I like it a lot.

Just what I was going for! Thanks!

You must not have a problem with dark boards then, I think it was a bit of a gamble making almost an entire level dark, though maybe you haven't gotten there.

Playing the game I sometimes feel I jammed all the good puzzles into the first level (aztec temple), and it gets more action oriented as it progresses.

The puzzle north of the pyramid and the zelda-esque shoot both statues thing aren't too obscure I hope.
