THE MOVIE THE GAME!

Post by Commodore »

I was digging through old notebooks and found my plans for what could have been a cult classic.

I (not so proudly) present...

in the last one you can see through to two different images that don't relate.

Planning ZZT games was how I spent a lot of study halls in middle school.

one time I was stopped by a cop and had my car searched. he went into my bag, found my notebook, which had maps for escape from castle wolfenstein, where he picked out phrases like "sound the alarm" and "set the bomb". fun time explaining that one.

Thanks for sharing that in all it's recognizable nerdiness.

Cooool. Tomorrow I'm going to try to find some of my zzt ideas put to ink! I forgot I used to do that.

I'm impressed with the amount of work you put into planning stuff out!

I've got a few sketches here and there, but I think by and large I just made my games up as I went along.

I always found that planning tends to lead to excessive ambition which leads to games that are never finished.

I'd still have that problem even if I didn't plan things out.
