can it do fonts?thematrixeatsyou wrote:OK, bugs fixed. ZZTris runs fine apart from the fact that the L piece, when rotated in a certain way, moves twice as fast as usual... or does it normally do that?
So yeah, http://rafb.net/p/JxYSQ291.html , get it while it's hot.
EDIT: A BKZZT would still be a good idea, though.

I've got a 404. Did you move it to somewhere else? Was it ever actually finished? Is this an elaborate joke?
Also, I found out someone made a program for storing small amounts of data in an image. That is, in the pixels themselves, not just tacked on to the end of a PNG. You can screencap the image and save it in a different format and it'll still decode properly.
I'm currently trying to see how complicated of a game file I can fit in it. Like, the data from a level-editor output works pretty well, but what I really want to know is how big a ZZT game can get and fit.
Then again, there's a chance that the headers are so big that even the ur world won't fit. I'll go test that.
EDIT: This image contains the data necessary to reconstruct a ZZT world with one board and no objects:
So maybe image-saved nanogames are a possibility.
Oh, yeah, the program that does this is the DeadChannel AvatarEncoder.

Uh, a few things:
1. ZZT Unlimited discussion is now in a new thread: http://zzt.org/fora/viewtopic.php?p=62042
2. Quantum P: You might want to update it... hopefully this will be the last time I have to pastebin it, as I'm looking into a free host (confirmed, yay, it's just trying to DNS it): http://rafb.net/p/z2YcSS76.html
3. Commodore: Yes, and as of this update it can load them from commfont.com directly. No palettes, though :/

AKA GreaseMonkey. This is my old nick.
Unless someone sneakily changes it while I'm not looking.
Oh well.
Playing around with timing hacks.
