zzt on mobile devices

Is there any way to play zzt on cellphones? If so, which cellphones would you recommend (the cheaper the better). I just want to have zzt on the go!

There's been talk of porting DOSBox to the iPhone. No official announcements, but I wouldn't be surprised if someone ported it, given the number of existing emulators, and the fact that the iPhone is more or less just a small computer (probably easier to port to).

But no port exists yet, and the iPhone is rather pricey once you figure in the required 2-year contract with AT&T. Definitely possible, though.

maybe ask in this thread if such a port is possible: http://zzt.org/fora/viewtopic ... 09&start=0

I think it's set to notify c99koder by email if you respond to it so you may get a reply.

Everything that runs on the iPhone runs on the iPod Touch which is the same thing sans phone.

if you must have zzt in your pocket at all times, an old HP 200LX will run it quite nicely, if you can look past the monochrome.

added bonus: can also play Commander Keen

I run it on an EEEPC via Dosbox. It'd run fine on the early 7" models too. I'd love it on a phone though, even if you could only play games you loaded onto it (IE no editor). It'd be an ideal game for phones' small joysticks given the 4 main direction buttons and clicking the button to shoot (in the last direction moved).

LoL

I don't see the reason why anyone would want to run ZZT on a phone. Considering the battery life and controls.
