Megazeux in XP, again

Post by 822 »

Okay, okay. You've heard it a thousand times. "Megazeux just crashes." You've solved it a thousand times. "Download the Win32 version".

Guess what? The former works better than the latter on my XP!

The older version I can actually get into, I just run out of memory whenever I try to run any game at all because it's running off of DOS memory, which I only have about a meg or two of.

The newer version, I launch, and then it says "Runtime Error - would you like to send an error report?". Either way, I can't do anything with either.

PS Somebody told me to not use ZIG but to use MZX because people use MZX. Would somebody please explain HOW they use MZX because right now I'M NOT!

ARG!

Thanks for any help!

First I moved this to mzx discussion since it's about (get this) Megazeux.

Second, I don't know a damn thing about mzx, but Exo would like to hear about your bugs!

Go here: http://www.digitalmzx.net/forums/index. ... 806&st=240 you probably have to register, but they know about mzx and robotic. 90% of us here don't.
