(TO STAFF: "evocativity isn't a word you fools".)

I saw “The Passion of the Christ” yesterday!

I don’t want to spoil it for you, so I’ll keep this brief.

The film focuses on the last 24 hours of Jesus’ life. And I have to say that, although the movie is thoroughly enjoyable, it is sometimes very difficult to watch, as there some acts of completely purposeless, completely malicious, and insidious violence. Nonetheless, though, this movie is the greatest achievement ever (despite the fact that it might not be true to real events).

Also, Satan is played by the very sexy Rosalinda Celentano!

Oh, they left that movie SO open for a sequel. Coming Summer 2005: "Passion of the Christ 2: LOOK WHO'S BACK!" bumbumbumbum bum, bumbumbumbumbumbum bumm, bumbumbumbum bum bumbum

I hope the sequel has Jesus duking it out with Pontius Pilate old-school-style. None of this nice-guy Pilate stuff.

This film was a waste of my time, the only redeeming feature was that Jesus was kind of hot.

I'm a big language nerd, so that aspect of the movie was quite enjoyable.

Yeah but I don't think that was the language christ spoke, dispite mel's attempt.

Also Mel Gibson is a cock.

his cameo in the movie are the hands that nail jesus to the cross.

Am I the only one who finds it rather ironic that Tyrannous, of all people, started this thread?

tyrannous probably never saw the movie, and just started this thread based on its evocative title.
