Having reached a 96KB milestone (3x that of the demo), I'd like to list here some pro tips when working with Stupor ZZT worlds:

1. ZAP is your friend. Avoid superz's editor or your object data will disappear.
2. ZAP's got a bug where cut/paste operations can leave crud behind. Use the 'show objects' button and cleanup to prevent runtime errors.
3. There's a couple limitations that require legacy editing. (ie: Like, you can't place the player on water.)
4. When working in the old editor, export boards to avoid saving directly to the world file.
5. ZAP isn't feature complete but can import ZZT stuff into SZZT, making Kevedit useful still.
6. When importing ZZT objects, make sure the code fits to superz's margins to prevent runtime errors.

Interesting... As of last night, m$ windoze defender deleted ZAP from my computer.

Category: Trojan

Description: This program is dangerous and executes commands from an attacker.

Recommended action: Remove this software immediately.

I just find it funny amid them catching flak for trying to monopolize game development on PC.
