For the record, this game is virtually finished and is now in the alpha phase... After this weekend I'm going to need a little break from all this. I'm totally spent.
:ssj:

I'll be sharing a segment for the bkbkzzt event and will post here! It'll be nice to play someone else's game for a change. :)

Had to simplify this to save space and minimize bugs. Anyway here it is, as promised.

Edit 1: Reuploaded. For best results, use Lyon.
Edit 2: Added top coat
Edit 3: Added splashing effect
Edit 4: All bugs fixed (needs restock)
Edit 5: Finalized

I love the fish pictures on a successful catch, it really sells it. It's a nice little engine. It's not any more complicated than it needs to be. The animation of the hook and the bobber seems natural and looks cool. With the music on top, it really has a lot of class.

Thanks. Indeed, this is no fishing simulator. I do intend to give it a final polish especially the fish art, but you get the idea. I'm just glad the damn thing works.

Earning rupees by catching fish, smashing pots and throwing bushes should be more enticing than +gems.

The engine doesn't restock the pond, so is there more than one fishing hole in the game?

Ah, good catch! (no pun) That should be easy. Fish goes char 32, back south and reappears on reentry. Thanks for the constructive criticism.

There maybe should be some sort of monetary risk involved too, like it costs a certain amount for five casts or something.

Thanks for the kind words fellas.

Progress has been slow cause I've been on vacation over a month... but I'm refreshed and ready to push this out the door!
Only 8 things left on my TODO list.
