Nice work! The game turned out pretty well.

I added an extra board between the fight against the brain and Gunnar, in order not to have a boss fight directly after another.

I also changed the void stalkers - they become red gems when you touch them (before they 'contact' you). It makes the ambush a lot easier to survive. If it's too easy, we can change it back - anyone want to try it out?

I still got murdered in the ambush room so I lowered the duplicator rate.

Maybe I've just played it too much, but the ambush level was already a piece of cake for me. Touch the acolytes when they look like clubs, and they turn into energizers. The void stalkers don't stand a chance while you're energized. All you have to do is bomb the enemies behind the duplicators, and you're done.

Of course, when I play, I usually enter the ambush with a couple hundred health and an energizer from the previous board, but I don't think that makes the difference between winning and losing.

I died the first few times, though, so maybe there should be a "save your game now" notice, or maybe we should somehow make the winning strategy clearer to the player.

Good point. It may be more fun if it requires some tact. There are some hints to the winning strategy in the boards before the ambush without making it literal, but it could use a friendly reminder to save.

There was something not quite right with the previous ambush scene, at least on my laptop. Sometimes, the void stalker behind the duplicator seemed unaffected by the explosions. This happened only every once in a while and I can't figure out why. Has anyone else had this problem?

Guys, you made some really cool boards and the whole game is a highly original experience. Thanks for finishing this.

It was uploaded on January 11. If that is indeed the latest version, I'll add it to the database!
