zzt game return to hometown

Post by gingermuffins »

player bumbles around looking for eight magic keys that open up his old homestead

keys are stored as a flag so that you can carry them all at once

will be only one file so it should be easy to drop it and pick up work again in summer

looking into ways to minimize prolonged horizontal walking, forest seems to help for some reason, boulders too. considered hiding transporters in light grey rocks and calling them MAGIC ROCKS

i'll revive this thread when it's close to done!!!!!!!!!!!

A return to ZZT's roots?

Sounds fun! Like the original style of adventure game that ZZT was designed for, but better!
I'm nupanick.

What Commodore just recommended.

Also, I don't know if I ever mentioned this, but I recently got a chance to play Eli's House, and it is indeed awesome! Here's hoping this game achieves a similar level of awesomeness.
